My winter training kicked-off in September (I like to get ahead of things) and has progressed well. I’ve stayed healthy and been able to get some good miles in:
September 749 miles
October 769 miles
November 494 miles
December 385 miles
January 530 miles
As the mileage has gone down the training intensity has gone up, so although I’ve reduced the miles I’ve been riding harder and increasing my training stress.
The graph above shows how my training stress has increased since September. My current chronic training load (CTL) is 70 and I hope to maintain this CTL throughout the season.
My first race of 2015 is now just a few days away so after next weeks block I plan to settle at a CTL of around 70. I’ll write again soon and let you know how my season develops.
Great 🙂

What are the software that you use for your CTL graph?

Hi Simardseb, the CTL graph is from Strava Premium. I also GoldenCheetah to analyse my data – that gives you some awesome graphs! 🙂
